Conference Overview
LISA Academy hosted a conference to disseminate its best practices to all educators in Arkansas. The conference was funded by a dissemination grant through the Arkansas Department of Education.
The program opened with speeches from Mr. Atnan Ekin, the Superintendent of LISA Academy, Ms. Mary Perry, Arkansas Department of Education Charter School Director, and Senator Jane English, the guest speaker for the conference and LISA Academy Governing Board member.
There were four break-out sessions and one panel session. Participants were able to get useful information about the LISA's practices for data-driven instruction, implementing common core, parental involvement, and cross-curricular learning projects by focusing on STEM projects.
During the panel session, participants were able to ask questions to LISA Academy leadership team.

Student Performances
KIPP Delta and Academics Plus Charter schools contributed
to the conference with their student performances. KIPP Delta Choir performed in
the morning. Academics Plus band and choir performed during lunch break. KIPP
Elementary students demonstrated their Robotics skills during lunch
break.
LISA Academy Elementary students performed National Anthem with sign language in the opening session. LISA Academy STEM team students demonstrated during lunch break. LISA Choir performed during the closing session.
